In recognition of their amazing fundraising, we’re shining the spotlight on what their company does, and how they’ve supported our charity.

Queensway has been established for more than 30 years and provides a range of dental care, from essential preventative dentistry through to cosmetic, restorative and specialist treatment.

They are a private practice with NHS departments in oral surgery and orthodontics, and have nine branches located across the North East, including Billingham, Newcastle and Sunderland.

The company have supported a variety of charities over the years, both local and national, and we’re very grateful to the Queensway team for choosing to donate and fundraise for us.

Queensway’s support has taken many forms, including paying for the drinks sponsorship package at our charity ball this year, donating a £550 teeth whitening voucher as a ball prize, and kindly providing 100 lip balms and 100 pens free of charge at our Galentine’s event in February.

Earlier this year Queensway brought colleagues from across the business together for its annual staff conference, which was an opportunity to reflect on the company’s successes and growth, as well as look ahead to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

During the conference they held a staff charity raffle, with a range of prizes, and managed to raise an amazing £1,428 for our charity.

The team have also previously hosted Easter fun days, where they had an egg decorating competition and raffled off hampers to raise charitable funds.

In addition to fundraising, the business has committed to making a regular donation of £500 a month, which helps us plan for the future, as this gives us sustainable long-term income.

To highlight their support, Queensway’s logo is displayed on the side of one of our rapid response vehicles, and the team were able to see it in person during an event celebrating our Corporate Partners.

“Supporting the amazing work they do in our community means so much to us, and we’re honoured to play a small part in helping them continue making a difference every day.”

Last month, Queensway’s Sunderland branch changed into a specialist care centre, and they have kindly invited us to host a fundraising stall when they re-open, to help raise further funds for our charity, so keep an eye out for further details on their social media.
